Psalms 100 was all about worship and preparing ourselves for worship! Tell us what God spoke to you about through Psalms 100
 
 
Message by Pastor Josh


1.   When I read the Word of God do I see it at absolute, objective truth or as subjective opinions?  Is it truth, meaning the only way or is it just suggested teaching?  Do I have unbelief in how I view God and His law..
 
2.  When I read the Word of God do I have a passion to share it with others? OR Am I ungrateful?
 
3.  When I meditate on God’s Word do I recall all God has done for me, for us and worship Him for it or do I just focus on what I want from God and take Him my checklist?  Am I ungrateful?


God's Judgments:
1.  By taking His presence from us
2.  By giving us over to our sin and never being fully satisfied
3.  By letting us live lives in vain
4.  By performing acts of discipline

1.  Hopelessness is ourselves forces dependency on God in our Suffering (v1-3)
2.  There is responsibility in and with our sufferings (v4-5)
3.  Develops a zeal for God's Glory (v6-12)
4.  There is a Pleading for rescue and redemption in our suffering (v.13-19)
5.  Realizing God's wrath and holiness in our suffering (v.20-28)
6.  Are we showing Jesus in the midst of our suffering (v.29-36)


Questions to ask :
A.  WIll I allow suffering to cause me to love Jesus more?
B.  Will I allow suffering to purify my motives?
C.  Will I allow suffering to realign my heart to the Gospel message and it's mission?
D.  Will the chains of suffering be viewed as a hindrance or an opportunity?
E.  Will other believers who watch me grow in their faith?
F.  Will Non-believers see God through my suffering?
 
 
Tell us what God did in your live at Summit through Psalms 51 or what He is doing in your life as you read any of the Psalms.


1.  There is no Honor for me in repentance
2.  There is no Union with God without repentance
3.  There are always Marks of sin after repentance
4.  There are alwaysIdentity pictures in repentance
5.  There is alwayslonging after repentance
6.  There will be Initiative after repentance
7.  There is a Total brokenness with repentance
8.  There is always You and your surroundings that are affected by sin before and after repentance.

Derick Sherfey spoke at Summit tonight! It was awesome to hear from the Word of God. God is working so much at Summit as we study Psalms.  Make sure you tell everyone you know so they don't miss out next week. See you all there!
